About David Roy Ocotla

Born on 22 December 1984, David lives and works in Mexico City.  His artistic training began at the age of 14 in a self-taught way.  He has a degree in Visual and Plastic Arts from "La Esmeralda", the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving (ENPEG). David's evocative images of young faces and places are bold, contemporary and captivating.  A mix of pop and classic, David's works express the urban realities of his environment.  His images of young faces and places are bold, contemporary and captivating.  A mix of pop and classic, David’s works express the urban realities of his environment. In 2017 and 2018 David exhibited at: Art Expo Malaysia, Art San Diego and Art Fair Tokyo.  David is currently exhibiting in galleries across the world, including Limited Edition Gallery in Miami. This is David’s first exhibition in Merida.
