About Eric Ledoux
Born in Paris in 1946.
He studied drawing and composition at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. In the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, he befriended Max Ernst, Salvador Dalí, and the sculptor César.
In 1968, he directed his own design studio for the textile industry. He worked for Pierre Cardin and Pierre Balmain, and distributed his creations in Japan, the United States, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, among other countries.

In 1989, he decided to settle in Mexico with his wife Françoise and their son Adrien. Fascinated by the colors and faces he encountered, he began to paint. His first exhibition took place at Jardín Borda in Cuernavaca.

Ingresó a la Academia de la Grande Chaumière, donde estudió dibujo y composición. En el barrio de Saint-Germain-des-Prés entabló amistad con Max Ernst, Salvador Dalí y el escultor César.
En 1968 dirigió su propio taller de creación de dibujos para la industria textil. Trabajó para Pierre Cardin y Pierre Balmain, y distribuyó sus creaciones en Japón, Estados Unidos, Italia, Brasil y Argentina, entre otros países. Ese mismo año realizó su primer viaje a México para visitar a su tío, el reconocido costurero Henri de Chatillon. Esta estancia dejó una profunda huella en la mente del artista.
En 1989 decidió establecerse en México junto a su esposa Françoise y su hijo Adrien. Fascinado por los colores y los rostros que encontró, comenzó a pintar. Su primera exposición tuvo lugar en el Jardín Borda de Cuernavaca.
