About MARÍA SANTAMARÍA

María studied interiors design in a small school in Barcelona, ​​later she began to create her own designs, some already directed to a much more sensitive side. In 2014 she moved to Mexico City, where she began her new life developing the activity of art director for filming commercials for several years, later she began to work on sculpture in a self-taught way and created pieces focused on the personal and emotional development of the human. Fascinated by the psychological dimension of the human being from her own experience through her own inquiries, she intends to transmit interior feelings abroad. Her proposal is "a sculpture of air, which is not touched", rethinking the understanding of what one is in the physical and social world, in which we exist.
