About Mohamed Ledesma

Mohamed was born on the island of Cozumel in 1992. East of Mexico, in the state of Quintana Roo. He currently lives and works in the city of Mérida, in the Yucatan peninsula. Graduated from the Higher School of Arts of Yucatán (ESAY). He has exposed the Safari Archive. The language of animals transmuted into the pictorial language. In the ESAY gallery in collaboration with the Fernando García Ponce Museum (2015), and the project: Narrative Portraits. Animal ramblings and contemplation. In the Museum of the City (Yucatán, 2016). He has also collaborated in group exhibitions such as the ESAY Tenth Anniversary, at the Higher School of Arts of Yucatan (2014); He has exhibited work in the gallery "Mycellium ingenium" (Tulum, Quintana Roo, 2015). He also participated in workshops such as El pozo, the map and the tower with Luis Carlos Hurtado (2014); the Museography Workshop with Marco Granados Ortiz (2015); the Drawing and Visual Conceptualization Workshop with Emilio Said Charruf (2016) and Obtained the Municipal Fund for the Visual Arts of Yucatán, with the project: Narrative Portraits. The multilanguage of "everything" embodied in painting. (2015).

Mohamed nació en la isla de Cozumel en 1992. Al este de México, en el estado de Quintana Roo. Actualmente vive y trabaja en la ciudad de Mérida, en la península de Yucatán. Egresado de la Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán (ESAY). Ha expuesto el Archivo Safari. El lenguaje de los animales transmutado al idioma pictórico. En la galería ESAY en colaboración con el Museo Fernando García Ponce (2015), y el proyecto: Retratos Narrativos. Divagaciones y contemplación animal. En el Museo de la Ciudad (Yucatán, 2016). 

También ha colaborado en exposiciones colectivas como el Décimo aniversario ESAY, en la Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán (2014); ha expuesto obra en la galería “Mycellium ingenium” (Tulum, Quintana Roo, 2015). Asimismo, participó en talleres como El pozo, el mapa y la torre con Luis Carlos Hurtado (2014); el Taller de Museografía con Marco Granados Ortiz (2015); el Taller de dibujo y conceptualización visual con Emilio Said Charruf (2016) y Obtuvo el Fondo Municipal para las Artes Visuales Yucatán, con el proyecto: Retratos Narrativos.
