It all begins with the first days of October. In those  dates the Yucatecans feel "the climate of the dead", there are many customs of their own and others that throughout the month and the first days of November are intertwined in a symbiosis as varied as the people themselves. This is reinforced by a mainly cloudy    climate without too much rain, in which people light candles, say prayers, eat the famous Mucbipollo, “pan de muerto”, visit cemeteries, “dress up” and    remember the beings that are on the other side. This is known as the climate of the dead, and there is no Yucatecan who cannot tell you that these dates are not special, because in one way or another it is the time when we all feel that magical aura that spreads silently throughout the world.

 Todo comienza a inicios del mes de octubre, para esas fechas los yucatecos sentimos “el clima de muertos”. Existen muchas costumbres propias y ajenas que durante todo el mes y los primeros días de noviembre se entrelazan en una simbiosis tan   variada como las personas mismas. Esto se refuerza con un clima principalmente nublado sin demasiadas lluvias, en el que las personas prenden velas, hacen oraciones, comen el famoso Mucbipollo, pan dulce, visitan los cementerios, se disfrazan y recuerdan a los seres que están en el otro lado. Esto se le conoce como el clima de muertos y no hay yucateco que no te pueda decir que estas fechas no son especiales, porque de una u otra manera es la época en la que todos sentimos esa aura mágica que se esparce silenciosa por el mundo.
